On July 4, the 2026 Annual Conference of the Teochew Medical Think Tank, themed "Grateful for the New Era · Shantou Conference for Supporting Healthcare Development", was held at the White Swan Hotel Shantou. More than 300 participants, including experts from the Teochew Medical Think Tank and renowned domestic experts and scholars, attended the event.
On behalf of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee and Shantou Municipal People’s Government, Wen Zhanbin, Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee, expressed sincere gratitude to the leaders and experts and scholars who have long cared for and supported the development of Shantou’s various undertakings, especially those supporting healthcare development. He pointed out that since its establishment in 2023, the Teochew Medical Think Tank has helped Shantou achieve fruitful results in the application of high-level diagnosis and treatment technologies, the construction of national-level key clinical specialties, and the cultivation of local medical and health professionals, effectively improving the overall efficiency of the city's medical service system. He hoped that the Teochew Medical Think Tank would further give full play to its role as a bridge and link, unite and lead more scholars, experts, and industry elites to contribute to the development of Shantou's medical and health services, and elevate the development of Shantou as a regional medical highland to a new level.
At the Conference, a promotional video of the Teochew Medical Think Tank was screened. The letters of appointment were awarded to the newly appointed leadership team of the Teochew Medical Think Tank and the representatives of the third batch of experts and scholars who joined the Teochew Medical Think Tank. Additionally, 26 assistance and cooperation projects were signed on site.

汕头市举行潮医智库2026年年会
7月4日，潮医智库“感恩新时代·健康汕头行”2026年年会在汕头白天鹅酒店举行。潮医智库专家和国内知名专家学者等300多人参加活动。
市委书记温湛滨代表市委、市政府，向长期以来关心支持汕头各项事业特别是卫生健康事业发展的各位领导和专家学者表示衷心感谢。他指出，潮医智库自2023年成立以来，助力汕头在高水平诊疗技术应用、国家级临床重点专科建设、本土医卫人才培养等方面取得丰硕成果，全市医疗服务体系整体效能有效提升。希望潮医智库进一步发挥桥梁纽带作用，团结带领更多专家学者和行业精英投身汕头医疗卫生事业建设，推动汕头区域医疗高地建设再上新台阶。
会上播放了潮医智库宣传片，向新任潮医智库领导团队和第三批加入潮医智库的专家学者代表颁发了聘书，现场签约26个帮扶合作项目。
