On the morning of July 16, the 2026 China (Guangdong)-ASEAN Trade Promotion & Supply Chain Cooperation Mechanism Exchange Conference, co-hosted by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and the China-ASEAN Centre, was held at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center. Two representative achievements from Shantou were prominently unveiled at the Conference, comprehensively demonstrating Shantou's innovative results and its cooperation potential with Southeast Asia in fields such as the digital economy and cross-border supply chains.

In terms of cross-border supply chains, TODAY SHIPPING, which has been deeply cultivating the European, American, and Southeast Asian markets for over 10 years, relies on ASEAN's mature localized layout to build a full-chain service system. This system integrates cross-border logistics, local customs clearance, self-operated overseas warehouses and trucking, stock clearance, and an integrated "logistics + finance" model. In terms of digital economy, Guangdong Jiatou Smart Technology Co., Ltd., a vice-presidential unit of the Shantou International Chamber of Commerce, took the lead in jointly advancing a pilot application project for a cross-border digital RMB trade settlement platform with Taiji Computer Corporation Limited and the Thai-Chinese Exim Association. Focusing on the pain points of cross-border trade settlement between China and Thailand, the project has successfully implemented a pilot for the cross-border application of the digital RMB.

汕头两大成果亮相中国（广东）—东盟经贸盛会

　　7月16日上午，由广东省政府、中国-东盟中心主办的2026中国（广东）—东盟贸易促进与供应链合作机制对接交流会在广州白云国际会议中心举行。汕头两项代表性成果在大会上集中亮相，全方位展示汕头与东南亚在数字经济、跨境供应链等领域的创新成果与合作潜力。

　　跨境供应链方面，深耕欧美、东南亚市场超10年的天运跨境，依托东盟成熟的本土化布局，构建跨境物流、本土清关、自营海外仓和卡车、库存清仓、“物流+金融”于一体的全链路服务体系。数字经济方面，汕头国际商会副会长单位广东佳投智慧科技有限公司牵头与太极计算机股份有限公司、泰华进出口商会三方联合推进跨境数字人民币贸易结算平台试点应用项目，聚焦中泰跨境贸易结算痛点，落地数字人民币跨境应用试点。
