From July 15 to 20, the 2026 International Film Festival of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states was held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan. ‘Dear You', a Teochew-dialect film, stood out among entries from multiple countries and won the Best Director Award.

On July 16, the opening ceremony and red carpet event of the Film Festival took place at the Rukh-Ordo Cultural Center. The core creators of the film ‘Dear You’ promoted this cinematic masterpiece on the venue to guests and media from various countries, highlighting how it carries the culture of "Qiaopi" (Correspondence and Remittance Documents from Overseas Chinese) and the Chinese spirit of upholding good faith, friendship, kindness and integrity. On July 18, the screening of the film ‘Dear You' as part of the Film Festival's international competition unit drew a full house. Moving from domestic screens to the international stage, and from the Teochew dialect to global audiences, ‘Dear You’ uses a story of family letters that defied the obstacles of mountains and oceans to allow more overseas audiences to feel the warmth and power of Chinese stories through the silver screen.

《给阿嬷的情书》获上合组织成员国国际电影节最佳导演奖

　　7月15日至20日，2026上海合作组织成员国国际电影节在吉尔吉斯斯坦乔尔蓬阿塔举行，潮汕方言电影《给阿嬷的情书》从多国参赛作品中脱颖而出，斩获最佳导演奖。

　　7月16日，电影节开幕式及红毯仪式在Rukh-Ordo文化中心举行。电影《给阿嬷的情书》主创人员向各国嘉宾及媒体现场推介这部承载“侨批”文化与中国人重情重义精神的银幕佳作。7月18日，影片在电影节国际竞赛影片单元进行展映，放映现场座无虚席。从国内银幕走向国际舞台，从潮汕方言走向世界观众，《给阿嬷的情书》用一段跨越山海的家书故事，让更多海外观众通过银幕感受中国故事的温度与力量。
