Recently, 12 containers loaded with BYD auto parts departed from the Guang'ao Port Area of Shantou Port aboard the CMA CGM vessel Zheng Li Shun Long, bound for Cambodia, marking the official launch of the "Xiaomo Port–Guang'ao Port" export WGO (Water-Gate Operation) model. This is another breakthrough for Shantou China Merchants Port Group Co., Ltd. in serving foreign trade enterprises in eastern Guangdong. It has opened up a new "low-cost, high-efficiency" logistics channel for BYD's Shanwei factory, running from Shanwei’s Xiaomo Port to Shantou’s Guang’ao Port for going global.

Compared with conventional road-based transshipment, this model fully leverages the core advantages of waterway transport—large carrying capacity, low energy consumption, and green, low-carbon operations—achieving win-win and all-win results: cost reduction and efficiency gains for enterprises, complementary synergy between Xiaomo Port and Guang'ao Port, and green regional development. It further consolidates the Guang'ao Port Area's role as a hub serving the export of advanced manufacturing products from eastern Guangdong.

“小漠港-广澳港”出口WGO模式落地

　　近日，装运比亚迪汽车配件的12个货柜搭乘法国达飞“正利顺隆”轮从汕头港广澳港区启航奔赴柬埔寨，标志着“小漠港-广澳港”出口WGO模式正式落地。这是汕头招商港口服务粤东外贸企业的又一突破，为比亚迪汕尾工厂开辟了一条经汕尾小漠港至汕头广澳港出海的“低成本、高效率”物流新通道。

　　相较于传统公路转运，该模式充分发挥水运大运量、低能耗、绿色低碳的核心优势，实现企业降本增效、小漠港与广澳港联动互补、区域绿色发展的多方共赢，进一步夯实广澳港区服务粤东先进制造业出口的枢纽功能。
