On the afternoon of August 8, an elegant Flute Suite music performance was given at the Mazu Palace Stage, offering citizens and tourists an immersive cultural experience of ancient music.

The Tuku Flute Suite Music Art Troupe from Chengnan Subdistrict, Chaoyang District, took the stage to perform. With an authentic and archaic performance style, they vividly demonstrated the unique artistic charm of Chaoyang Flute Suite music. The performance opened with the traditional welcoming suite music “Wan Nian Huan” (Eternal Joy), followed by classic pieces such as “Liu Yao Jin” (Gilded Willow in the Breeze) and “Deng Lou” (The Lantern-Lit Tower), fully displaying the profound heritage of folk music. Originating from the court elegant music of the Southern Song Dynasty, Chaoyang Flute Suite music was listed among the first batch of China’s national intangible cultural heritages in 2006. It is a highly representative treasure of traditional Chaoshan culture.

汕头举办潮阳笛套非遗古乐惠民展演

　　8月8日下午，一场雅致的笛套音乐展演在老妈宫戏台精彩上演，为市民游客带来沉浸式的古乐文化体验。

　　潮阳区城南街道塗库笛套音乐艺术队登台献艺，以纯正古朴的演奏风格，生动展现了潮阳笛套音乐的独特艺术魅力。演出在传统迎宾套曲《万年欢》中拉开帷幕，《柳摇金》《灯楼》等经典曲目轮番登场，尽显民乐底蕴。潮阳笛套音乐源自南宋宫廷雅乐，2006年入选第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录，是极具代表性的潮汕传统文化瑰宝。
