On August 11, the 2026 Annual Conference of the Nylon Branch of the China Chemical Fibers Association and the Nylon Industry Innovation and Development Forum, hosted by the China Chemical Fibers Association and other organizations, opened in Shantou. The conference brought together entrepreneurs, experts, and other relevant representatives from upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. It aimed to explore new development paths for the nylon industry, pool industry forces, and jointly create a new future.

At the conference, the current status and development trends of the nylon industrial chain were analyzed and forecasted, providing important references for enterprises to assess the market and plan new projects. Attendees were also briefed on the upgrading and transformation of Shantou's textile and garment industry from being "scattered and extensive" to achieving "full-chain aggregation".
