On August 11, the Event for Taiwanese Business People to Assist the East, West and North Guangdong in “Integrating into the Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, along with the "Invest in Guangdong" Policy Briefing, was held in Shantou. Zhong Huie, Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Guangdong Province; Zhuang Yuequn, Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee; and Lee Cheng-hung, Chairman of the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland, attended the launch ceremony and delivered speeches.

At the launching ceremony, the Shantou Municipal People’s Government signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Deepening Shantou-Taiwan Economic and Trade Exchanges and Cooperation to Promote Integrated Development with the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland. Furthermore, the Jinping District People’s Government, the Administrative Committee of Shantou Pilot Zone for Economic and Cultural Cooperation with Overseas Chinese, the Shantou E-commerce Industry Association, and the Shantou Orchid Association respectively signed cooperation agreements with Taiwan's Hai Pa Wang International Group, the Shantou Association of Taiwan-invested Enterprises, Guangdong Wonder Core Technology Co., Ltd., and the Chinese Orchid United Association of the Taiwan Region of China. Xie Zhiwei, President of the Shantou Association of Taiwan-invested Enterprises, and Chuang Tsung-lin, Chairman of Taiwan's Hai Pa Wang Group, delivered exchange speeches.

　　8月11日，台商助力粤东西北“融湾发展”活动暨“投资广东”政策说明会在汕头市举办。广东省台办主任钟挥锷、汕头市委书记庄悦群、全国台企联会长李政宏出席启动仪式并致辞。

　　启动仪式上，汕头市政府与全国台企联签订《关于深化汕头台湾经贸交流合作推动融合发展战略合作框架协议》；金平区政府、汕头华侨试验区管委会、汕头市电子商务产业协会、汕头市兰花协会分别与台湾海霸王国际集团、汕头市台商投资企业协会、广东万达康科技有限公司、中国台湾地区国兰联合总会签订合作协议；汕头市台商投资企业协会会长谢志伟、台湾海霸王集团董事长庄宗霖作交流发言。
