On the morning of August 20, the 37th Chaoshan Xinghe Award Conference, the 16th Chaoshan Xinghe Huiyong Exemplary Teacher Award Conference, and the 3rd Chaoshan Xinghe Huang Xuhua Scientific and Technological Innovation Award Conference were held in Shantou. Attendees included Lin Xingsheng, former Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and founding president of the Chaoshan Xinghe Award Foundation; relevant leaders from cities including Shantou, Chaozhou, and Jieyang; Chen Guoguang, founding vice president of the Chaoshan Xinghe Award Foundation; and lifetime honorary presidents Zhang Zhangsun, Lin Huiyong, and Ma Weiqiang.
At this year's conferences for the Xinghe Award, 249 outstanding young people and 124 advanced collectives received the five major Xinghe awards in “morality, academics, science and technology, literature and art, and sports”. One hundred teachers received the Huiyong Exemplary Teacher Award, 10 students received Xinghe scholarships, and 5 science and technology workers received the Huang Xuhua Science and Technology Innovation Award. Yang Zhilin, Chaoshan-origin young scientific research entrepreneur and founder of Moonshot AI, received the Special Prize of the Chaoshan Xinghe Huang Xuhua Science and Technology Innovation Award.

潮汕星河奖第三十七届颁奖大会在汕头举行
8月20日上午，潮汕星河奖第三十七届暨潮汕星河辉勇师表奖第十六届、潮汕星河黄旭华科技创新奖第三届颁奖大会在我市举行。广东省政协原副主席、潮汕星河奖基金会创会会长林兴胜，汕头市、潮州市、揭阳市有关领导，潮汕星河奖基金会创会副会长陈国光和永远荣誉会长张章笋、林辉勇、马伟强等出席活动。
本届星河奖共有249名优秀青少年和124个先进集体喜摘“品德、学业、科技、文艺、体育”五项星河大奖，100名教师荣获辉勇师表奖，10名学子获得星河助学金资助，5名科技工作者荣获黄旭华科技创新奖，潮籍青年科研创业者、月之暗面创始人杨植麟荣获潮汕星河黄旭华科技创新奖特别奖。
