Recently, with the approval of the Shantou Municipal People’s Government, the Shantou Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau released the List of the First Batch of Protected Traditional Chaoshan Residences of Shantou City to the public. 13 traditional residences, including Kunlu, Ziqing Villa, Dafudi, and Xindonglizhai, were successfully selected.

This list covers four districts: Chenghai, Haojiang, Chaoyang, and Chaonan. The selected residences include representative traditional Chaoshan architectural styles such as Climbing Lion, Double Back Sword, Four-Point Gold, Descending Tiger, three-section compound, and Fangchengzhai. Multiple sites, including Juchi Village in Shanghua Town, Chenghai District, and Tongboyu Community in Chaoyang District, were listed, fully demonstrating the profound historical heritage and cultural value of ancient villages and streets.

汕头发布第一批潮汕传统民居保护名录

　　近日，经汕头市人民政府批准，市住房和城乡建设局向社会公布《汕头市第一批潮汕传统民居保护名录》。堃庐、梓青别墅、大夫第、新东里寨等13处传统民居成功入选。

　　本批名录覆盖澄海、濠江、潮阳、潮南四个区，入选民居囊括爬狮、双背剑、四点金、下山虎、三座落、方城寨等颇具代表性的潮汕传统建筑样式。澄海区上华镇菊池村、潮阳区铜钵盂社区多处、连片上榜，充分彰显古村落、古街巷深厚的历史积淀与文化价值。
