Recently, the Kaidi Deep Sleep Research Institute jointly established by Guangdong University of Technology, Shantou University, the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Guangdong Laboratory, and Guangdong Kaidi Garment Co., Ltd. was established in Chaoyang District, marking the official launch of our city’s brand-new industry-academia-research collaborative innovation platform in the field of healthcare textiles.

Backed by the scientific research talent advantages of universities and provincial laboratories, as well as the medium- to high-end product R&D, manufacturing and industrialization capabilities of home wear enterprises, the institute will establish a collaborative R&D mechanism, carry out in-depth cooperation, promote the transfer of scientific research achievements from laboratories to production lines, and create a demonstration highland for in-depth industry-academia-research integration with focus on frontier directions such as the functional design of sleepwear and home wear, new fiber materials, functional fabrics, green printing and dyeing, comfortable textiles, and sleep technology.

汕头健康纺织领域全新产学研协同创新平台正式启用

　　近日，由广东工业大学、汕头大学、化学与精细化工广东省实验室、广东凯迪服饰有限公司联合共建的凯迪深睡眠研究院在潮阳区揭牌成立，标志着我市健康纺织领域全新产学研协同创新平台正式启用。

　　该研究院将依托高校和省实验室的科研人才优势、家居服企业中高端产品研发制造与产业化能力，聚焦睡眠家居服功能性设计、新型纤维材料、功能性面料、绿色印染、舒适纺织及睡眠科技等前沿方向，建立协同攻关机制，开展深度合作，推动科研成果从实验室走向生产线，打造产学研深度融合示范高地。
