On October 22, the Shantou Marine Economy Industry Matchmaking Event, hosted by the Shantou Municipal People’s Government, was launched during the 2026 China Marine Economy Expo. Leveraging the national-level platform of “China’s No. 1 Marine Expo”, the event promotes Shantou’s marine resource endowments, policy incentives, and investment opportunities to a global audience. It focuses on attracting "chain-leader" leading enterprises in the marine economy and help accelerate Shantou's development into a distinctive modern marine city.

The event features two main sections: a special exhibition and display, and an industry matchmaking conference. Among them, the Shantou Marine Economy Special Exhibition Area covers 285 square meters. Centered on the construction of the Shantou Port Economic Zone, it comprehensively presents an overview of Shantou’s efforts to build a distinctive modern marine city, the development positioning of the Shantou Port Economic Zone, as well as the core advantages and development foundations of industries such as offshore wind power and marine engineering equipment, marine information industry, marine biomedicine and big health, and marine ranches. It also showcases the development achievements of 20 key enterprises.

汕头海洋经济产业对接活动亮相2026中国海洋经济博览会

　　10月22日，由汕头市人民政府主办的汕头市海洋经济产业对接活动在2026中国海洋经济博览会期间启幕。活动依托“中国海洋第一展”国家级平台，面向全球推介汕头海洋资源禀赋、政策红利与投资机遇，聚力招引海洋经济链主龙头企业，助力汕头加快建设特色型现代海洋城市。

　　本次活动设置专题展览展示、产业对接会两大板块。其中，汕头海洋经济专题展区面积285平方米，围绕汕头临港经济区建设，集中呈现汕头建设特色型现代海洋城市的总体概况、临港经济区发展定位，以及海上风电与海工装备、海洋信息产业、海洋生物医药与大健康、海洋牧场等产业的核心优势与发展基础，集中展出20家重点企业发展成果。
