This year, Shantou will invest 2 million yuan to fully promote the construction of the municipal infrastructure, covering 15 projects, such as road flooding, traffic pressure, road lighting, road surface damage and dangerous bridge reinforcement, etc.
Among them, 6 projects, that is, Jinsha Road (north side of Jinsha Park) "Water Flooding Street" Reconstruction Project, Zhujiang Road (Huangshan Road~ Taishan Road) Reconstruction Project, Hanjiang Road (Xinghu Park~ Huangshan Road) Reconstruction Project, South Longyan Road (Zhongshan Road~ Haibin Road) Reconstruction Project, Jinhong Road (Longhu Section) Street Lights Auxiliary Project (Jinjin Bridge ~ Jinzhou Bridge), Leiguang Avenue Street Lights Reconstruction Project (324 National Road~ Guangda Avenue), are listed as "popularity-wining" projects. When the capitals for these 6 projects are in place, Shantou will ensure to commence the projects this year and complete the projects by the end of the year, to give a satisfactory answer to the public.

我市今年将投2亿建15市政项目
今年我市将投入2亿元，全力推进市政基础设施建设，涉及道路水浸、交通压力、道路照明、道路路面破损及危桥加固等15个项目。
其中，金砂路(金砂公园北侧)“水浸街”改造工程、珠江路(黄山路～泰山路)改造工程、韩江路(星湖公园～黄山路)改造工程、龙眼南路(中山路～海滨路)改造工程、金鸿公路(龙湖段)路灯配套工程(金津大桥～金州大桥)、磊广大道路灯配套工程(324国道～广达大道)等6个项目，被列为民心工程项目。这6个项目在资金及时到位的情况下，将确保在今年开工、年底完工，给市民一个满意的答复。
