Upon approval by Guangdong Provincial Government, the wharf of Shantou Siam Gas Energy Co., Ltd. on Shantou Port has been opened to the outside world formally. This will further solidify the position of Shantou Port as the national hub port, expand the influence of Shantou as the major collecting and distributing centre for liquefied gas from Southeast Asia in East Guangdong, promote the stable import growth of Shantou, and drive the balanced development of import and export trade.
The dedicated liquefied petroleum gas wharf of Shantou Siam Gas Energy Co., Ltd. is located in the water area of Guang＇ao Port opened to the outside world. So far, it has been the largest liquefied petroleum gas wharf in Shantou and even East Guangdong, has 3 berths with berthing capacity of 50,000 tons, 20,000 tons and 5000 tons respectively, and is equipped with two underground tanks with total reserve volume of 200,000 cubic meters. The designed annual throughput is up to 2,000,000 tons.

汕头暹罗燃气能源公司码头开放
经省政府批准，汕头港口岸汕头暹罗燃气能源有限公司码头正式对外开放。这将进一步巩固汕头港国家主枢纽港地位，扩大汕头作为东南亚液化气在粤东地区主要集散地的影响力，促进我市进口的稳步增长，推动进出口贸易均衡发展。
汕头暹罗燃气能源有限公司液化石油气专用码头位于广澳港对外开放水域范围内，是汕头港乃至粤东地区迄今为止最大的液化石油气码头，共有靠泊能力分别为5万吨级、2万吨级和5千吨级泊位3个，配套两个总储量为20万立方米的地下储罐，年设计吞吐量达200万吨。
