Recently, the Planning Study (draft) of green belt and space utilization of the north side of Coastal Road of Xinjin Area of East Coast New Town, compiled by Shantou Urban Planning and Design Institute, was issued for publicity before approval. After completion, the Coastal Road and surrounding area will fully demonstrate modern urban landscape, providing rich and pleasant landscape experience for local residents, while defusing the impact of road traffic on the land inside the land.

According to the plan, the Coastal Road is 60 meters wide, with eight lanes for both ways, combining the road and embankment, and there＇s about 3.6 meters in height difference between the road and the land inside, which is resolved with the slope of 30 meters green belt. At the same time, considering the special needs of street commerce and urban landscape use, the 30 meters green belt is used for comprehensive landscape, forming a rich and varied green landscape platform with sea, greenery and urban atmosphere. Green belt is divided into five functional areas- plaza recreation area, sitting & exhibition area, children＇s play area, plant tour area and entrance plaza area. The plan also proposes effective use of underground space of the 30 meters green belt, for overall development and use, with construction of underground parking to meet the needs of public parking.

　　近日，由汕头市城市规划设计院编制的《东海岸新城新津片区滨海大道北侧绿化带及空间利用规划研究(草案)》进行批前公示。建成后的滨海大道及周边区域将充分展示东海岸新城的现代化城市景观风貌，为当地居民提供丰富、宜人的景观体验，同时化解道路交通量对道路内侧用地的影响。
　　按照规划，滨海大道宽60米，双向八车道，堤路结合，道路与内侧的用地之间有约3．6米的高差，通过30米斜坡绿化带化解。同时，考虑到临街商业的空间需求和城市景观利用，将30米绿化带进行综合景观利用，形成一个丰富多变、有海有绿有都市气息的景观平台。绿化带主要分为五个功能区，广场休闲区、休憩展览区、儿童游乐区、植物游赏区和入口广场区。规划还提出有效利用30米绿化带地下空间，进行整体开发、整体使用，建设地下停车场，满足市民停车需求。
