Consulate General of Indonesia in Guangzhou Mrs.Ratu Silvy Gayatri visited Shantou recently.

Deputy Mayor Zhao Hong introduced economic and social development of Shantou, and expressed his hope to invite Indonesia people from all walks of life to visit Shantou to seek for cooperation opportunity and achieve common development.. Mrs.Ratu Silvy Gayatri said that Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Experimental Zone was both an important opportunity for Shantou＇s development and important platform for foreign economic and cultural cooperation. Indonesia would lead local entrepreneurs and overseas Chinese organizations to join the construction of Maritime Silk Road, achieve cooperative development goals in trade, tourism and other industries agreed by leaders of both countries, and make contribution to prosperity and development of Asia, even the Pacific Area.
