Recently, Shantou＇s first large-scale commercial historical paper-cut turned up in China Resources Center in Shantou. The giant paper-cut was co-created by Zheng Shaoyan, an inheritor of Guangdong provincial intangible cultural heritage item (Chaoyang paper cutting), and Weng Mushun, Curator of Chaoyang Cultural Museum, who were invited by CRL Shantou Branch. The paper-cut is 250 cm long and 55 cm wide, with fine cut of commercial landmarks of different periods in Shantou, supplemented with Chaoshan folk cultural elements, showing full view of Shantou commercial historical relics and human marketplace environment.

　　近日，汕头首个大型商业历史剪纸亮相汕头华润中心。该巨型剪纸是华润置地汕头公司特邀广东省省级非物质文化遗产项目(潮阳剪纸)传承人郑少燕、潮阳文化馆长翁木顺等共同创作的。全幅长250厘米，宽55厘米，精细剪裁出汕头各个时期商业地标，辅以潮汕民俗文化元素，呈现出一幅汕头商业历史遗存及人文市井环境全象。
