The East Park Phase I of Shantou Children＇s Park with public concern moves on smoothly in construction at present, and the excavation of artificial lake has been basically completed, with certain amount of site preparation, green heap slope, sewage works and distribution substation completed, so far 25％ of  master schedule has been completed.

Children＇s Park is located on the north side of Zhongtai Flyover at the junction of Zhongshan Road East and Taishan Road, which is divided into two parks in the east and west, with a total land area of 11.47 hectares. After completion, the East Park will be open free to the public, and the West Park will be constructed by Longguang Company for free, which will be transferred to the Municipal Gardening Department for management and open to the public.

　　备受市民关注的儿童公园东园一期目前建设进展顺利，人工湖开挖基本完工，场地平整、绿地堆坡、污水工程、配变电工程均完成一定工程量，至今完成总进度25％。
　　儿童公园位于汕头中山东路和泰山路交接处的中泰立交桥北侧，分为东西两园，总用地面积11.47公顷。东园建成后，将免费向市民开放，西园将由龙光公司无偿投资建设，建成后移交市园林处管理并向市民开放。
