On the morning of August 15, the founding chairman of Hong Kong Chaozhou-based Community Federation Chen Weinan visited Shantou with his delegation.
During the meeting, Deputy Party Secretary Sun Guanghui gave a brief introduction of Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone to Chen Weinan and his delegation, hoping that Chaozhou folks in Hong Kong can seize the opportunity to return home for investment, and work together to promote the revitalization and development of Shantou. Chen Weinan said they＇re full of confidence in the construction of Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone, and would actively publicize the good momentum of development in Shantou, to bring more people back for investment and support economic and social development in the hometown, for mutual benefits.

香港潮属社团总会创会主席陈伟南一行莅汕
8月15日上午，香港潮属社团总会创会主席陈伟南先生一行莅汕考察。
