On December 18, 2015 Nan＇ao Forum with the theme of "promoting Chinese culture and building common spiritual home" was opened in the beautiful Nan＇ao Island in Shantou City. The experts and scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Straits had in-depth exchanges and meeting of minds centering on the "Analysis of the Influence of the ＇Differences＇ of the Cultures across the Straits", "Path and Rethinking of Cross-strait Integration", "Vision that the Cultural Exchange and Cooperation between Shantou and Taiwan Advance toward Win-win Results", "Prospecting for Chaoshan＇s Future Development from Taiwan＇s Leisure and Cultural Creative Industry" and other topics so as to promote cross-strait cultural exchanges and cooperation as well as innovation and development under the new situation and to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
