Shantou＇ Chaoyang Lotus Peak Scenic Area listed in national AAAA tourist attractions by Guangdong Provincial Tourist Attraction Evaluation Committee. This is Chaoyang District＇s first AAAA tourist attraction and the 7th AAAA tourist attraction in Shantou City.
Haimen Lotus Peak Scenic Area integrates seaside scenery, cultural landscape, cultural relic protection, patriotism education base and Chaoshan religious and cultural landscape. The scenic area has a coastline as long as 1200 meters and beautiful coastal sceneries. It also has plentiful human landscapes such as the historical sites about Wen Tianxiang and Zhang Lu’an in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and their memorial building and Virtuous Temple, Qiquan Well, Chongwen Pavilion, Wen Tianxiang stone statue, and the tomb of Lu’an, the study of Lu’an. The Haimen "mass grave" site and the "Lotus Peak cliff inscriptions" in the scenic area are cultural relic protection units of Guangdong Province. The "Lotus Peak noble spirit" in the Lotus Peak scenic area is one of the eight sights of Shantou.

汕头市潮阳莲花峰景区获“国家AAAA级旅游景区”
经广东省旅游景区质量等级评定委员会组织评定，汕头市潮阳莲花峰风景区被评为国家AAAA旅游景区，这是潮阳区首家AAAA级旅游景区，也是我市第7家AAAA级旅游景区。
海门莲花峰风景区是一处集海滨风光、人文景观、文物保护、爱国主义教育基地、潮汕宗教文化景观为一体的风景区。景区海岸线长达1200米，滨海风光优美。有宋元时期文天祥、张鲁庵的忠烈正气史迹及其纪念建筑忠贤祠、奇泉井、崇文亭、文天祥石雕像、鲁庵墓、鲁庵书舍，人文景观丰富。景区的海门“万人冢”遗址和“莲花峰摩崖石刻”为广东省文物保护单位。莲花峰景区的“莲峰浩气”为汕头八景之一。
