On February 24, the original large-scale folk symphony concert “Canton Rhythm on Silk Road” gave a wonderful performance in Shantou Lin Baixin Exhibition Center. It was the first folk orchestral work taking a theme of Maritime Silk Road, and also the first attempt to play Canton music in the form of symphony.
This concert lasted for more than 70 minutes, composed of seven movements including “Trade on the Sea”, “Ritual to the Sea”, “Voyage”, “Foreign Lands”, “Homesickness”, “Return” and “New Dream”. It concentrated on Lingnan folk music, foreign cultures and so on, inherited excellent traditional culture and was full of vivid character of time.

首部海丝主题交响乐《丝路粤韵》莅汕献演
2月24日，原创大型民族交响套曲音乐会《丝路粤韵》在汕头林百欣会展中心精彩献演。这是首部以海上丝绸之路为主题的民族管弦乐作品，也是广东音乐以交响套曲形式表演的首次尝试。
此次音乐会总时长70多分钟，由《开海》、《祭海》、《远航》、《异域》《乡愁》、《归来》、《新梦》共7个乐章组成，其中浓缩了岭南民族民间音乐、异域文化等，既传承优秀传统文化，又充满了鲜明的时代气息。
