The first sketch activity, the "Maritime Silk Road" Large Sketch, Creation and Exhibition Activities, sponsored by Shantou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV, Film, Press and Publication and Shantou Federation of Literary and Art Circles and undertaken by Shantou Chinese Painting Academy was launched recently. More than 30 Chinese painters from Shantou Chinese Painting Academy sketched by focusing on the subject of "Maritime Silk Road" , expressing the beauty of the hometown and the love for "Maritime Silk Road" with their painting brushes.

These Large Sketch, Creation and Exhibition Activities will keep to the theme "Maritime Silk Road" , which are divided into several stages including sketching activities, learning from each other＇s creative draft sketches, final draft creation and exhibition, lasting from April to October this year. Among others, in addition to carrying out sketching activities in Shantou, the painters will be organized to go to Zhangzhou and Quanzhou in Fujian Province and other places for collecting local customs. In the first sketch activity for a period of two days, the painters visited Shantou’s Museum of the Culture of Opening the Commercial Port, Chao Customs Site, the British Consulate in Queshi, Chenghai Red Boat Park, Zhanglin Ancient Port and Nan’ao Island, etc., and held the creation meeting.

　　由市文广新局、市文联主办，汕头中国画院承办的“海上丝绸之路”大型写生、创作、展览活动近日启动首场写生活动，汕头中国画院30多名中国画家围绕“海上丝绸之路”这一议题进行写生，以画笔抒写家乡美、海丝情。
　　此次大型写生、创作、展览活动紧扣“海上丝绸之路”主题，分为写生活动、创作初稿草图观摩、正稿创作以及展览等几个阶段，从今年4月将一直持续到10月。其中写生活动除在本地开展外，还将组织画家赴福建漳州、泉州等地采风。在为期两天的首场写生活动中，画家们参观了汕头开埠陈列馆、潮海关旧址、礐石英国领事馆、澄海红头船公园、樟林古港以及南澳岛等，并开展了笔会。
