On October 26, Jiang Zhihong, vice-president of Macau University of Science and Technology and deputy director of the national key laboratory for major quality research, came to Shantou for investigation with his team to explore into the possibility of jointly building a health institute by Macau University of Science and Technology, the high and new technology industrial development zone and China-Israel (Shantou) Cooperation Zone for Sci-tech Innovation.
Jiang Zhihong said that Macau University of Science and Technology would promote the cooperation of both sides in the development and research of big health industry, building of industrial think-tank and personnel training base relying on its strength of the key national TCM laboratory, and expressed his hope to carry out extensive cooperation with Shantou in aspects like building the cooperation platform for production, teaching and research, hi-tech R&D in TCM and establishment of incubator for research achievements in the science and technology of TCM in order to realize a win-win result.

澳门科技大学副校长姜志宏一行莅汕考察
10月26日，澳门科技大学副校长、重要质量研究国家重点实验室副主任姜志宏一行莅汕考察，探讨澳门科技大学与高新区、中以(汕头)科技创新合作区共同建设健康学院的可能性。
姜志宏表示，澳门科技大学将凭借国家中医药重点实验室的实力，促进双方在大健康产业发展研究、建设产业智库和人才培养基地方面进行合作，希望与汕头在建立产学研合作平台、中医药高新科技研发、中医药科技成果孵化器的创立等方面开展广泛合作，实现多赢局面。
