Centering on building the urban core circle of "one bay and two banks", Shantou City accelerates the development and construction of the South Bank of Shantou Bay to build a modern harbor-related new city. Currently, the main building of Chaoshan History and Culture Exhibition Center, located in central axis of Nanbin New Town, initially shows a beautiful image of the building facade. In May this year, Chaoshan History and Culture Exhibition Center will complete scaffolding demolition and show its unique beauty; by the end of this year, the upgrade and reconstruction of 6-kilometer Nanbin Road and waterfront landscape belt will be completed so as to build the urban landscape of "the city in the landscape, and the landscape in the city".

　　我市围绕打造“一湾两岸”城市核心圈,加快汕头湾南岸城区开发建设,打造现代化临港新城。目前,南滨新城中轴线上的潮汕历史文化博览中心主楼初步呈现出靓丽的建筑立面形象,今年5月初潮博中心将完成脚手架的拆除展露芳容;今年底6公里长的南滨路及岸线景观带将完成升级改造,打造“城在景中,景在城中”的城市景观。
