In order to solve the problem of parking difficulty in the city and to develop and utilize underground space, recently, the construction of Shantou＇s first Cloud Parking Shaft Type Underground Parking Garage (Pilot) Project was officially started in Xinghu Park. The Project covers an area of 152 square meters only and has a depth of 35 meters with a total of 20 floors, in which nearly 100 cars can be parked. The underground garage is a sealed underground space, and it takes pumped drainage. It is equipped with the spark smog alert. In case of a fire alarm, carbon dioxide injection system can be immediately started so as to extinguish the fire in time. This is the first shaft type underground parking garage in Guangdong Province and is currently the deepest underground parking garage in China.

　　为破解城市停车难题，开发利用地下空间，我市首个云泊井筒式地下车库(试点)项目近日在星湖公园正式启动建设。该项目占地仅152平方米、深达35米共20层，可停放近百辆小汽车。地下车库为密封式地下空间，采用抽取式排水，设有火星烟雾警报，遇到火警可立即启动二氧化碳注入及时灭火。这是全省第一个落地的井筒式地下车库，也是目前全国最深的地下车库。
