On the morning of October 12, the nameplate of Zhanglin Ancient Port Field Workroom of the Research Center of the Historical Anthropology at Sun Yat-sen University was unveiled in the beautiful Zhanglin Ancient Port in Dongli Town, Chenghai District. Following the opening of the Exhibition Hall of South Guangdong Historical Trail on Yingyuan Road in Guangzhou, this is the second open theme museum on South Guangdong Historical Trail, which will display more items related to the historical trail. The Workroom is set up in Lin Park on Xinxing Street and becomes a base for studying the history and culture of Zhanglin Ancient Port, which is of great significance to promote the study of Chaoshan culture.

At the unveiling ceremony, the materials collected from the "Activity of Looking for the Descendants of Qiaopi Yinxin (Overseas Chinese Correspondence and Remittance Documents)" were transferred. The sponsor of the Activity transferred the newly collected Qiaopi, interviews, the stage photos of the plays, the music score of Chinese operas, and the design diagrams of Shantou Xidi Park to the Zhanglin Ancient Port Field Workroom, so that these valuable materials will become new historical memories and be preserved forever.

　　10月12日上午，中山大学历史人类学研究中心樟林古港田野工作室在美丽的澄海区东里镇樟林古港揭牌，这是继广州市应元路南粤古驿道展览馆开幕之后的第二个开放式的南粤古驿道主题博物馆，今后将展示更多的古驿道相关展品。工作室设置在新兴街林园，成为研究樟林古港历史文化的基地，这对推动潮汕文化研究具有重要意义。
　　仪式上还举行了“寻访侨批银信后人活动”资料移交，主办方将寻访侨批后人活动新收集到的侨批、访谈录、剧本剧照、曲谱及汕头西堤公园设计思路图等移交给樟林古港田野工作室，让这一批珍贵的资料成为新的历史记忆，永久留存下去。
