On the morning of December 18, the nameplate of Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology was officially unveiled. It is the first Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run university with the status of an independent legal entity, which introduces Israel＇s high-quality higher education resources. Since its construction was launched on December 16, 2015, its north campus has been built and fully put into operation. 216 students from 12 provinces in China have become the first group of freshmen of Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. A series of activities of “China-Israel Cooperation in Education, Science and Technology will be held on December 17 to 20. It will further promote the exchanges between the teachers and students in the two universities in education science and technology, culture and other aspects by holding academic symposiums and lectures, etc.

　　12月18日上午，广东以色列理工学院正式揭牌，这是我国第一所引进以色列优质高等教育资源的具有独立法人资格的中外合作大学。自2015年12月16日启动建设以来，目前北校区建成并全面投入运作，来自我国12个不同省份的216名学生成为广东以色列理工学院首届新生。12月17日至20日将举办的“中以教育科技合作”系列活动，通过举行学术研讨会、讲座等，进一步促进两所学校的师生在教育、科技、文化等方面的交流。
