On the morning of January 8, Shantou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports and He Xiaobin, a famous Chinese playwright-director, spent more than a year planning and creating the first acrobatic report drama " Righteous Ardour, Great Attachment". A news release conference was held on Laomagong Stage for the drama which will be premiered by the Shantou Acrobatic Troupe recently in Shantou.
  
Acrobatic report drama "Righteous Ardour, Great Attachment" is the first acrobatic report drama featuring Chaoshan elements and Chaoshan style. Based on the artistic advantages accumulated in the development of acrobatics in Shantou for many years, this drama is bold in innovation, indicating the creation of a new  performance style on acrobatic stage .Based on the struggle history of Chaoshan citizens at the beginning of the last century, the drama depicts the unique "Overseas Chinese" culture in Chaoshan area with superb and exquisite artistic techniques, and shows the valuable spirits of patriotism, braveness and adventurism of Chaoshan citizens, as well as attachment for homeland featuring ardor for hometown construction and concern about country development.

杂技报告剧《心烧·眷恋》将于近日在汕首演

1月8日上午，由汕头市文化广电旅游体育局和中国著名编导何晓彬历时一年多策划打造，汕头市杂技团演出的首部杂技报告剧《心烧·眷恋》在老妈宫戏台举行新闻发布会，该剧将于近日在汕首演。

杂技报告剧《心烧·眷恋》是首部以潮汕元素、潮汕风貌为特色的杂技报告剧。该剧在汕头杂技多年发展所积累的艺术优势的基础上，大胆创新求变，创造出一种新的杂技舞台表演样式。该剧以上世纪初潮汕人开拓的奋斗史为背景，以高超细腻的艺术手法描绘了潮汕特有的“侨”文化，表现了潮汕人热爱祖国、勇于开拓、敢为人先的可贵精神和热心家乡建设、心系祖国发展的家国情怀。
