Recently, the construction of the main body of test section of utility tunnel project of our city's East Coast New Town completed, and in this year, the construction of backbone network of Xinxi area will be fully rolled out, laying a solid foundation for promoting the construction of overseas Chinese pilot zone at a high level.
 
East Coast New Town Utility Tunnel is the first large-scale urban underground utility tunnel project in eastern Guangdong Province, and the first case of utility tunnel being constructed in reclamation and land-making areas in China, with a total length of about 22.64 kilometers. Among which, the Xinxi area is 15.55 kilometers, the Tagangwei area is 7.09 kilometers. The total investment is more than 2.5 billion yuan, the PPP cooperation mode is adopted, and the investment and construction party is the central enterprise China Communications Construction Company Limited. The test section starting in March last year is the initial section of the first longitudinal line of the Three-horizontal & Three-longitudinal backbone network in Xinxi area, which is located at SN8 Road in Xinxi area, and has a total length of 661 meters.

汕头东海岸新城管廊试验段主体建成

　　近日，我市东海岸新城综合管廊项目试验段主体建成，今年新溪片区主干网将全面铺开建设，为高水平推进华侨试验区建设打下坚实基础。

东海岸新城综合管廊是粤东地区首个大型城市地下综合管廊项目，也是全国首例在填海造陆区域建设的综合管廊，全长约22.64公里。其中，新溪片区15.55公里，塔岗围片区7.09公里，总投资超过25亿元，采用PPP合作模式由央企中国交建投资建设。去年3月份开工的试验段是新溪片区三纵三横主干网第一纵的起始段，位于新溪片区SN八路，总长661米。
