From 15th to 18th in June, the 8th World Traditional Wushu Championships hosted by the International Wushu Federation and the Chinese Wushu Association was held in Emeishan City, Sichuan Province. The 18 inheritors of the Lijiajiao Boxing (New gesture) of the Shantou Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage Project represented the Guangdong team to participate the competition and won 12 gold medals, 9 silver medals, 8 bronze medals and a first prize of a group project. The characteristic technical style of Chaoshan native traditional culture has attracted the attention and recognition of participants from all over the world.

潮汕非遗项目扬威世界传统武术赛

6月15日至18日，由国际武术联合会和中国武术协会主办的第八届世界传统武术锦标赛在四川省峨眉山市举行。汕头市级非遗项目李家教拳(新架)18名传承人代表广东省组队出战，夺得12金9银8铜和一项集体项目一等奖。潮汕本土传统文化的特色技术风格受到全球参赛者的关注和认可。
