The "2019 China (Guangdong)-Thailand Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference" jointly hosted by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Thai Young Chinese Chamber of Commerce was held recently in Bangkok, Thailand. Our city organized a delegation to participate it and conducted economic and trade exchanges in Thailand and Vietnam.
  
During the visit to Thailand, the delegation visited the Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Tio Chew Association of Thailand, Thai Young Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Taihua Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and other famous societies to conduct deep consultation and communication with overseas Chinese leaders and business leaders based on deepening the economic and trade cooperation between Shantou and Thailand, promoting more Thai overseas Chinese to participate in the social economy of Shantou, deeply participating the construction of "Belt and Road", etc.
  
In Vietnam, the delegation visited Chaozhou Yi'an Chamber in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. Through symposiums and field visits, the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the investment environment in Vietnam and exchanged and docked with the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and Vietnamese companies.

汕头经贸代表团访问泰国、越南

　广东省商务厅、泰国中华总商会、泰国华人青年商会共同承办的“2019中国（广东）-泰国经贸合作交流会”近日在泰国曼谷举行，我市组团参加并在泰国与越南开展经贸交流活动。

访泰期间，代表团先后拜访了泰国中华总商会、泰国潮州会馆、泰国华人青年商会和泰华进出口商会等著名社团，就深化汕泰经贸合作，推动更多泰国侨胞共同参与汕头的社会经济发展，深度参与“一带一路”建设等与侨领和商界领袖们进行了深入座谈和交流。

在越南，代表团访问了越南胡志明市潮州义安会馆、越南广东商会等社团，并通过召开座谈会、实地走访等方式，深入了解越南投资环境，与越南广东商会及越南企业进行交流和对接。
