In order to implement the deployment requirements of the province and the city, the Bureau of Finance of Shantou Municipality issued the Implementation Plan of Shantou City for Supporting the Establishment of Regional Medical Center, with a plan to invest about 2 billion yuan from this year to 2022 to give key support to the city's hospitals and grass root-level health care institutions in various aspects including project construction, equipment purchase and discipline construction. It mainly includes eight aspects: Supporting the construction of municipality-level public hospitals (including affiliated hospitals of Shantou University), supporting the construction of high-performing hospitals,  pushing forward the upgrading construction of district-level public hospitals, providing special subsidies for the equipment of grass root-level medical and health institutions, supporting the construction of municipal key clinical specialties, encouraging the establishment of "upper third-class" hospitals and consolidating the achievements, assisting municipality-level  hospitals and public health institutions in solving the equipment shortage, and providing subsidies for experts or experienced doctors selected by municipal public hospitals to serve in the construction units of integrated health care system and the rural grassroots.

汕头计划4年投20亿元创建区域医疗中心  

为贯彻落实省、市的部署要求，市财政局日前出台《汕头市支持创建区域医疗中心实施方案》，计划从今年起至2022年投入约20亿元，对我市医院和基层卫生医疗机构在项目建设、设备购置、学科建设等各方面给予重点支持。主要包括八个方面：支持市级公立医院（含汕大附属医院）建设、支持高水平医院建设、推进区级公立医院升级建设、对基层医疗卫生机构设备专项补助、扶持市临床重点专科建设、鼓励创建“三甲”医院和巩固成果、帮助市级医院和公共卫生机构解决设备不足、对市公立医院选派专家或有丰富经验的医生到医联体建设单位和农村基层服务给予补助等。
